The Happiness Project

Mental Health blog, focused on self-care and learning to love your life!

Happy Friday all! So far we have made it 15 days into the New Year, and the world isn’t on fire… yet. With the New Year’s, we all make new goals, intentions, and set up new plans. And if you are anything like me… you have no idea what’s in store. That’s alright though! We’ll get through this thing together.

But I do have one really fun announcement for you all today. You might notice some differences with my blog. Where are all the book-themed things? And what is the Happiness Project and where did The Library Lady go?

Well, to make is short and simple, I’m rebranding! A while back you might have seen a post about my desires to take this blog further along that what it currently was. And while I absolutely loved my book blog, it wasn’t hitting the goals that I wanted it to hit. I really want to take this blog further along, maybe even get to a point where I can do this more “full-time”. And book reviews just were not cutting it. So I started to think of other things that I’m really passionate about… and mental health was one of the first things I came up with. As someone who has struggled a lot with mental health, I wanted to do something to share the tips, tricks, and overall passion I had with others, and what better way to do that than utilize this blog in a better way.

So for now, it’s so long book reviews and other related content. I will always carry those fond memories of getting this blog started and literally being so overwhelmed because I had NO idea what I was doing. Side note, thank you to my amazing husband for the countless hours and frustration of us learning together. You are the!

With this new theme, I’m hoping to achieve a lot when it comes to mental health. I want to talk about:

  • Access to better mental health resources
  • Tips on how you can improve your mental health at home
  • Current topics and problems
  • And maybe a book review every now and then… for old time sake. πŸ˜‰

I’m so excited for this push into a new direction. If there is anything that YOU would like to see, please leave me some comments below! πŸ˜ƒ
