A little update from me:

Good afternoon all of you wonderful people on the Internet. It has been a few days since my last post, and I didn’t mean for that to happen. I’ll be frank with you all, this quarantine business is a serious downer. I’m glad that people are taking it more seriously now because this COVID-19 stuff needs to die down, but for an extrovert like myself, it’s hard to stay indoors all the time. This Friday (4/17/2020) will be five weeks since I have been to work and started self-isolating with my husband. That is like… an eternity for me.

I’m not going to lie, the first few weeks were pretty easy. I got so much reading done, uploaded on my social media and posted here quite a few times. But I have found that the last couple of weeks have been the hardest. I can’t seem to stay productive. I lay in bed for a huge chunk of the day, and then stay up until 2-3 in the morning and can’t sleep. I’m not about this life, not one bit.

I’m working towards my goals of uploading more often here. I’m almost finished with one book, The Beautiful, which has been FANTASTIC to read. And my local library is connected with Hoopla, which I would highly recommend for anyone to use. So I have a plethora of books to read.

I hope everyone is staying safe and happy through these uncertain times. If you find yourself super bored and need something to read, I’m more than happy to help with some reader’s advisory questions (can’t let my skills get rusty now). Comment below and tell me what you are reading!

Until next time,

The Library Lady ♡
